Pneumonia and diarrhea account for 50% of all deaths in India at these ages [12]. *Other infections include sepsis, meningitis, encephalitis, tuberculosis, tetanus, polio, measles, HIV, malaria, other infectious and parasitic diseases, and fever of unknown origin.
