  1. The prevalence and incidence ranges used for calibration for heterosexual men and women were based on the National Health and Nutrition Examination Survey [38] and surveillance data [39], both from CDC. The baseline median and IQR are based on the simulation results of 1000 calibrated parameter sets. The upper and lower bounds of the calibration range for the low and high sexual activity classes were set to the lower and upper bounds for the total population. The calibration is detailed in [19]
